Since its founding in 2017, ANDHealth has become the recognised leader in programs and non-dilutive investment support to accelerate commercialisation for Australia’s fast growing Digital Health sector.
CUREator+ is a key partnership between Brandon BioCatalyst (managed by Brandon Capital, Australia’s leading BioMedTech investment firm) and ANDHealth. This partnership was selected to deliver the $50 million 2021 MRFF BioMedTech Incubator (BMTI). CUREator+ combines the insights, track record and Australia's medical commercialisation experts to the mission of attracting, selecting and supporting promising Australian startups across Therapeutics, Diagnostics, Devices and Digital Health.
The Director of BMTI is a newly created role, critical to delivering Digital Health innovation within this partnership. You will manage the day-to-day relationship with Brandon’s Cureator+ team to deliver Australia’s leading commercialisation support programs for Digital Health and connected medical device companies - balancing strategic aims (new opportunities and building organisation capability) with hands-on operational delivery, ensuring deadlines are met.
Your new role:
- Key point of contact with Brandon, ensuring strong working relationships
- Deliver on all ANDHealth program deliverables and milestones for multiple cohorts across applications, selection, due diligence, project initiation and execution, monitoring and assessment
- Manage internal resources and key external stakeholders required to deliver the program
- Advocate and ensure all processes give equal consideration and access to digital and connected health companies
This is a senior appointment, contributing across the ANDHealth Non-Dilutive Investment team as well as the wider ANDHealth environment. You will be expected to coach and mentor the broader Non-Dilutive Investment team in your areas of digital health expertise, to support ANDHealth initiatives, to develop networks and eminence, and to support events and delegations.
You will have:
- Relevant science or clinical background and tertiary academic qualifications
- Strong knowledge, experience and passion for Digital Health / SaMD commercialisation
- Domain expertise across key facets of Digital Health including commercial, clinical evidence, regulatory approval, reimbursement - with deep experience and track record in at least one.
A track record of success in Digital Health investment, technology transfer and / or grant writing will be highly regarded.
You will be:
- A team player with a strong sense of purpose and commitment to ANDHealth’s goals of accelerating the commercialisation of Australian Digital Health
- An excellent communicator, with strong stakeholder management, communication and collaboration skills who can advocate for a position but also negotiate best outcomes for parties
- Highly organised, with end-to-end program management experience across a program of similar size
