Were searching for a highly motivated Marketing Specialist (Events) for a permanent position based in our Marketing and Communications team at either our Brisbane office or Bundaberg operations hub.


Youll have a passion for marketing and events management and be directly responsible for managing Best Practice Softwares internal and external events and conference portfolio. The ideal candidate will be experienced in marketing and or events management. We expect you to be a reliable professional, able to balance a demanding events schedule, with a flare for logistical coordination.


Your Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the planning and coordination of Bps events schedule across Australia and New Zealand, including maintaining a calendar of events and list of requirements for each.

  • Coordinate the Bp Events Working Group, keeping records of meeting notes, action items, as well as providing updates to any developments from prior discussions.

  • Develop proposals to support Bps attendance at conferences and events in alignment with Bps events budget and strategy.

  • Assist the Marketing Team in the design, creation and coordination of marketing materials and merchandise.

  • Provide operational and administrative support to internal stakeholders and event exhibitors.

  • Design event plans, maintain attendee details, marketing, promotion, and scheduling.

  • Attend conferences and events to support exhibitors and maintain Bps conference stand and collateral.


Naturally, we are after the best. So, to succeed in this role youll have:

  • Experience in marketing and or events management with exposure to planning and exhibiting at industry conferences or customer events.

  • Strong administration and logistical organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • The ability to travel several times a year to major industry conferences.

  • Enthusiasm for event design, planning, and coordination.

  • A responsible attitude enabling you to work autonomously, while also thriving in a team environment.

  • Excellent high-level communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.

  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office.

  • Experience with WordPress, Campaign Monitor, Elementor, and social media planning platforms is desirable.
