About Movember

Movember is the leading Men’s Health Organisation and Charity changing the face of men’s health globally, tackling mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. In our mission to stop men dying too young, we’re seeking an Agile Coach to join our Movember Impact Enablement Team team based in Australia.


About the role

The role is responsible for coaching cross functional teams to build capability and drive adoption of new ways of working across Movember. Acting as a change agent, the agile coach is a catalyst for enhancing team dynamics and effectiveness while also developing leadership confidence and capability.


Some responsibilities will be:

Coaching & Capability Development

  • Bring the best out of teams by coaching collaborative cross functional practices and frameworks enabling the effective delivery of high-quality strategic outcomes.

  • Provide guidance and support to Squad Leads to enhance their leadership capabilities and effectiveness.

  • Evaluate squad and individual effectiveness, using both qualitative and quantitative measures, and communicate insights in a way that that promotes learning and development.

  • Design & deliver engaging workshops and training sessions that cater to the needs of diverse audiences. This includes the ability to facilitate meaningful discussions, manage group dynamics, and ensure a positive learning environment.

  • As required, facilitate Squad ceremonies to ensure alignment, transparency, and continuous improvement.


Ways of Working Optimisation

  • Collaborate with squads, teams and leaders to identify opportunities for improvement in the delivery of value and strategic outcomes.

  • Drive adoption of data driven decision making, reflection and continuous improvement practises.

  • Support reflective practises to fuel innovation and experimentation within squad ways of working and strategic goal delivery.

  • Coach workflow optimisation frameworks (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, Scrum, Kanban) and best practise use of workflow management tools (e.g. Jira / Asana)


Community & Culture Building

  • Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement and innovation within Squads and across the organization.

  • Shepherd change initiatives, communicating benefits and addressing resistance to change.

  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and practices to continually enhance knowledge and expertise.

  • Support the evolution and success of Communities of Practise across the organisation, facilitating knowledge sharing, networking and collaboration.


For this role, you’ll need:

  • Certified Coach or equivalent certification (e.g., IECL Organisational Coach, ICF PCC, ICAgile Certified Professional).

  • Extensive experience of coaching/agile leadership experience built upon your in-depth of digital delivery experience.

  • Expert level proficiency with Agile methodologies, principles, and practices, with hands-on experience implementing Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels and connect teams to purpose and outcomes.

  • Demonstrated robust coaching and mentoring skills and track record of optimising cross functional ways of working, improving team performance, and delivering business value.

  • Proven track record of effectively monitoring squads' effectiveness, utilising robust analytical skills to derive actionable insights and implement interventions for performance enhancement.

  • Proven ability to utilise tools and technologies (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Asana) to improve collaboration and communication both within Squads and across the organisation.

  • Mastery in successfully guiding teams through change and supporting mindset shifts.


Bonus points for:

  • Experience in a global NFP or health system environment.

  • Previous roles as Delivery Lead or Chapter Lead.
