Slade Health has successfully completed Charm Evolution integrationacross all public hospital sites in Victoria, marking a major milestone in the journey toward a fully digital, paperless ordering system.
This achievement positions Victoria as the second Australian state, alongside Queensland, to adopt a digital ordering solution for hospital pharmacy services.
The latest addition to the network, the Gippsland Health Alliance which includes Latrobe Regional Health, Central Gippsland Health Service, Bairnsdale Regional Health, West Gippsland Health Service, and Bass Coast Health is now fully live on Slades integration engine.
On its first day of operation, over 150 items were seamlessly ordered through the Charm Evolution system, eliminating the need for manual data entry and streamlining operations for the team at Slade Healths Mt Waverley site in Victoria.
Enhanced efficiency and real-time insights
The integration engine connects the Magentus Charm Evolution EMR system directly with Slade Healths bespoke compounding software, ensuring a secure, automated flow of information.
